Your User Profile

In these docs, account means your organisation’s Diarybook account: the settings, users and appointments everyone shares. Your user profile is yours alone.

Most setup is done once for the whole account, by someone with administrator rights, and applies to everybody. A few settings are on your user profile instead. You change them yourself, and changing them affects nobody else. Go through them once when your user profile is created, then again when something changes: a new working pattern, a new phone, or a device you no longer use.

Where to find them

Open Settings, then select My Profile. Each page below is a section of the profile menu on that screen.

An administrator sees the same sections for any user under UsersUser List → the user’s side menu. See Users and Permissions.

The pages

  • Work Hours: the hours you are willing to take appointments in. Set these early, because they govern when anyone can book you.
  • Devices: the devices recorded against your user profile, and how to revoke one that is lost, stolen or no longer in use.
