# Assigned user workload

## Why this matters

Assigning entries to users divides a long list across a team. This report shows how evenly that
work is spread, and it puts the entries nobody is assigned to at the top, because those are the
entries most likely to be missed.

## Options

| Option | Choices |
|---|---|
| Formats | View, CSV, PDF |
| Dates | None: the report shows the lists as they are now |
| Filters | **Users** (the users assigned to the entry), **Waiting Lists**, **Status**, **Priority**, **Locations** |
{.table}

See [Running Reports](/docs/reporting/running-reports/) for the steps.

## What it contains

The first row is **(unassigned)**. After it comes one row per user, shown as surname, first name.
If you select users in **Users**, only those users are listed.

| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| User | The assigned user |
| Triage, Waiting, W&S, Review, Attended, Suspended, Removed | The number of that user's entries in each status |
| Total | All of that user's entries |
{.table}

The **(unassigned)** row is highlighted in red when it has any entries.

The CSV file has the columns **User**, one column per status with its full name, and **Total**.

## What to watch for

**The user rows add up to more than the number of entries**
An entry assigned to two users is counted once for each of them.

**The (unassigned) row is always zero**
Unassigned entries are left out when you select users in **Users**, and when you don't have **Can
view All Appointments**. See [Running Reports](/docs/reporting/running-reports/#before-you-start).

**Users with no entries are listed**
Every user is listed, with zeros where they have nothing assigned.
