I’m setting up a new service

Start with Start Here. Your first week sets out the one-time configuration in dependency order:

1. Foundations: departments, locations, waiting rooms and sender IDs
2. Reminder settings
3. Users and their work hours
4. Resources and schedules
5. Appointment types
6. Clients and appointments, or Automatic Syncing if appointments come from another system
7. Policies

The account setup page describes the fields on each screen.

I run clinics day to day

The pages you’ll use most:

• Adding an appointment and recording attendance and DNAs
• Adding and editing clients and consent and opt-outs
• How reminders work and merge fields
• Waiting lists — from getting started to breach dates and targets
• ExcelSend — messaging straight from an Excel spreadsheet
• Your User Profile — your own settings, including the devices you have signed in from

Lookup material — merge field reference, SMS message parts, SMS status codes — lives under Reference.

I’m assessing integration

Diarybook runs standalone or as an integration layer alongside an existing patient management system. Start with the integration overview for the file format and how data moves, then requirements and compatibility for source systems and network access. The Appointment Sync Service covers the messaging side, and the Trust section holds certifications and security documentation.
