When adding client records diarybook attempts to find existing records that match to warn you of possible duplication. However, currently client duplication checks do not include archived client records. Therefore duplication can still occur unnoticed.

With this upcoming change, diarybook will begin to check against the archived clients for duplicate records as well.

You do not need to do anyting. This change will occur automatically from the 20th January, 2025.

If you believe this change does not suit the way you operate your account, there is a way to keep the current behavior. We are adding a policy setting that allows you to choose to exclude archived client records from duplication checks. We can set this policy for you before the global change is made if necessary - simply email support.
